Why can’t I place a bet from my current location?
You can only place real-money bets if you are physically located in the United States and in a state where online gambling is permitted. If you are outside the U.S. or in a restricted state, betting will be unavailable.
How location verification works
We are required by law to verify your location before every bet. We use secure geolocation technology to confirm that you are in an approved state. If your location can’t be verified, bets cannot be placed.
Common reasons betting is blocked
You are outside the United States
You are in a state where online gambling is not allowed
A VPN or proxy is active
Location services are turned off or blocked
Your network connection cannot be verified
How to fix location issues
If you’re in an eligible state, try:
Disabling VPNs or proxy services
Enabling location permissions on your device or browser
Switching networks (Wi-Fi ↔ cellular)
Restarting the app or browser
Traveling?
International travel: Betting is not allowed
U.S. travel: You may bet only while in supported states
