What is the Worker Health & Safety fee?

The health and wellbeing of our members and employees has never been more important. Over the years, we have implemented a broad range of programs in our fulfillment centers to invest in worker safety and wellbeing, including:

• Comprehensive health insurance 

• Paid sick leave for workers or those with affected family members

• Mental health services & support 

• Employee assistance program for counseling

• Enhanced safety training & education

To make these and other programs sustainable long-term, we’ve made investments as a company and are asking our member community to join us by supporting a portion of the costs by adding an optional worker health & safety fee to each order.  If you prefer to opt out of this fee at this time, you can easily do so by clicking the information icon next to the fee in your cart and checking the box to opt out (see the image below). This will also remove the fee from your future orders. 

Alternatively, you can easily opt out of the fee by going to your Account Settings:  Account > Account Information > Order Settings.
