Flight Changes

The ability to change your flight depends on your fare type, airline policies, and when the change is requested. Most flexible and premium fares allow free changes, while basic economy fares may have restrictions or require a change fee. Changes must be made through our office or the airline's website. Some changes are subject to the current difference in fares.

To change your flight, contact our support team with your booking reference and your preferred new flight. Our team will check availability, confirm that the change is permitted under your fare rules, and provide you with any applicable fees. Changes can usually be processed within 24 hours for flights departing within the next 7 days.

Most airlines charge a change fee ($50-200+) for modifications to bookings, though this fee may be waived for flexible fare types. If your new flight is more expensive than your original booking, you will pay the difference in fare. If the new flight is cheaper, the difference is typically retained by the airline or credited to your account as a travel voucher.

Changes requested within 24 hours of departure may not be possible, as airlines typically stop accepting changes at this point. However, if flights are cancelled or there are significant delays, airlines are obligated to rebook you on the next available flight at no charge. For changes requested within 24 hours but before the airline's cutoff, expedited fees may apply.

Changing your travel dates to a completely different day is treated as a new booking. Depending on your fare, you may need to pay change fees plus any fare difference. Changing to a significantly different route (e.g., different departure airport) may not be possible on your current booking and would require cancelling and rebooking.

Airlines generally do not allow full name changes, as tickets are issued to specific passengers. However, minor corrections (fixing a middle initial or correcting a spelling error) can often be made at no cost if reported before check-in. Corrections must be verified with your passport and reported as soon as possible.

If your preferred flight is full, you can request to be placed on a standby or waitlist. If a seat becomes available, you will be contacted and can accept or decline the change. Standby flights are not guaranteed, and you should have an alternative plan if the standby does not confirm. Waitlist confirmation usually occurs within 24 hours of departure.
